Fourteen people are facing charges after a three-day undercover prostitution sting in Saint Louis.
Authorities were looking for suspects that were trying to buy sex from prostitutes who were forced into sex-work.
Police arrested the 14 men in Saint Louis County and St. Charles County. All of them charge of prostitution.
“For all those people out there that are thinking about, or are currently out paying to engage in this conduct, we’re not going to let you go either,” said Sgt. Adam Kavana of St. Louis County Police. “We’re coming after you just the same as the traffickers themselves.”
Police also recovered five guns and drugs including meth, and marijuana.
The action was carried out by St. Louis County police, the FBI, and other local agencies.
